Genesis Essentia super coupe is also not far from launch.
Genesis’s flagship luxury SUV, the GV80, will be presented to global customers in the first quarter of 2020, while the smaller GV70 will promise to launch a year earlier. According to CEO Genesis Manfred Fitzgerald, the two names are just the beginning of the ambitious expansion campaign of the Korean brand.

In an interview with MotorTrend, he confirmed that the company is trying its best to bring concepts (which are all highly appreciated) such as Essentia supercar and Mint small urban cars into mass production.
“With Essentia, we only have to worry about two factors: which type of powertrain is most appropriate and the overall direction we want,” the leader shared at Pebble Beach. “A number of options are still being discussed and agreed upon. Chassis, equipment and exterior customization are being thoroughly dissected.”
For Mint, this urban car has great potential thanks to its spacious interior, high practicality and special design while its small size allows users to wriggle more conveniently in tight urban environments. .
Earlier, the flagship G90 sedan (first in MotorTrend’s test comparison with the Lexus LS, Lincoln Continental and even the BMW 7-Series) has also launched an upgraded version in the Korean market.
