Accordingly, Focus Trend is currently listed by dealers at VND 570 million for the sedan version and 580 million for the hatchback version, while Titanium and Sport cost 740 million.
Compared to other competitors in the C segment, the Ford Focus is highly appreciated for its ability to operate but is still unable to create a viable sales for many consecutive years due to its lack of appeal in both exterior and furnished design.
Since 2018 so far, ahead of the decline in the depth of sales, this model has been continuously adopted by attractive promotions but still can not improve the situation. Ford Focus’s sales are always very large with top models such as the Honda Civic, Toyota Altis, Mazda 3 or Kia Cerato. In the first 6 months of 2019, Focus sales were only 1,152 vehicles and were the most humid cars segment.
In this context, instead of bringing the new version to a replacement for Focus, Ford Vietnam decided to lead a failed vehicle model to clear the way back to the crossover Escape model, competing with the model Mazda CX-5, Hyundai Tucson. It is possible to consider this to be a consistent flag of the trend as this segment increasingly tends to rise to the throne in Vietnam.
